For ten years, GBT fixated on one disease, Sickle-Cell Anemia, an otherwise untouched and underserved patient base in the world of medicine. Through ten years of dedicated activism and relentless problem-solving, GBT faced the bitter-sweet milestone in their fight for the cure: they were purchased by a bigger company with bigger resources to take their fight further.
In this documentary, Erin gets to sit down with the team to reflect on GBT's incredible journey and impact, with hopes the mission's new giants will hold their world as delicately as they did.
